Big Snow at Bank Street
NYC friends, need a break from the Christmas hustle and bustle? Stop by Bank Street Bookstore tomorrow, browse their great selection and listen to me read BIG SNOW and converse with puppets!
This is our favorite so far! Although "Building Our House" is quickly gaining on it. You have a wonderful way of rendering the joys, delights, charm, and vision of childhood. I see my own child-self in the art, although I grew up in the New Mexico desert. How can that be? Because you caught the heart of what we felt as a child, no matter where we felt it.
Thank you for your wonderful note! It's always so nice to know that people "out there" are enjoying the books, especially when a story has managed to overcome differing childhood climes :-)
